Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Covers: damages to your rental vehicle caused by collisions or accidents. This cover is only valid if the terms of the rental agreement are not broken.

Theft Protection (TP)

Covers: the costs if your rental vehicle is stolen. This cover is only valid if the terms of the rental agreement are not broken.

Third Party Liability (TPL)

Covers: the costs if your rental vehicle is stolen. This cover is only valid if the terms of the rental agreement are not broken.

Not Covered

DW Exclusions: CDW doesn't cover other parts of the car (e.g. Tires, wheels, windshields/windows, mirrors, undercarriage, roof, interior, accessories (GPS, child seats), personal items, lost keys).
Personal Injuries: Medical expenses for the driver are not included.
Passenger Injuries: Medical expenses for the passengers are not included.
Negligence or Misuse: Damages resulting from reckless driving, unauthorized drivers, or driving under the influence.
Personal Belongings: Loss or theft of items inside the vehicle is not included.
Towing & Roadside Assistance: Fees from towing and roadside assistance resulting from misuse or reckless driving will not be covered.
Non Authorized Drivers: Anyone who is not included in rental contract is not covered.
Fuel Negligence: Costs resulting from incorrect fuel type usage, fuel contamination, or roadside assistance related to running out of fuel.
Unauthorized Cross Border Use: Any coverage will be voided without cross border permit.
Loss of Use: If there is loss of business due to accident, supplier can charge daily rate for reasonable time period it takes to fix vehicle.
Other: Loss of / theft of / damage to: keys, aerials, jack, safety triangles and vests, windscreen wipers, petrol cap, luggage covers, or any other fixed or mobile component of the car.

Note: Ensure you review contract for any nuances in coverages and exclusions for your own protection.

Max Theft & Damage Liability

~5% car value, confirm before signing rental agreement

Often referred to as a deductible or excess. This is the max you can legally be charged in case of theft, collision, or third party liability, outside of outlined exclusions, as long as terms of the rental agreement are not broken.
